FIND SOMEWHERE TO GROW
Connect Groups at ROVC are the perfect place to make friends, experience community, and grow spiritually! Led by one or two individuals, Connect Groups are small groups of people who meet in a home, at the church, or elsewhere, on a regular basis.
At ROVC, we run both ongoing and term groups. Our Ongoing Groups meet throughout the year, typically breaking only over the summer. Our Term Groups run for a specific length of time, usually during Spring or Fall. We have groups for various demographics and interests, varying from men, women, and seniors to various Bible studies, prayer, and other specific interest/hobby groups! Joining a group is easy – just check out our groups below, pick the one(s) you are interested in, and click “sign up”. We are ready to welcome you in!

This group is a 6 week, safe, faith-filled space where we grow together in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness, love, and compassion. We believe that every person matters to God and that Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).
We will:
Learn simple, clear ways to share the gospel
Study the life of Jesus and how He reached people with love and truth
Pray for the lost and for boldness (Acts 4:29)
Go out into our community to share hope with those who need it most
Encourage one another through testimonies and real-life outreach experiences
This group is especially for those who have a heart for people who are hurting, broken, or overlooked—those on the streets, struggling with addiction, or searching for hope. You don’t need to have all the answers—just a willing heart.

Over the course of eight weeks, our video study “The Bible, simplified”, will show you how all the stories in the Bible tell an interwoven story of God using people to bring his kingdom to the world. You’ll dig into historical context, learn about the different genres in the Bible, and discover proven methods of studying the Bible that will help you not only better understand what it means but also how it helps you grasp God’s great love for you.

Face painting is fun and can be a great tool for ministry at special events like Family Fun Day. This group is for those who want to learn how to face paint, as well as those with experience, who would like to practise new techniques or perfect their skills. We will learn and review 8 specific face painting designs over the course of 9 weeks. It’s a great way to get ready for Family Fun Day, and to be creative together!
