ROVC CITY CARE

The mission of His Hand’s Outreach Ministry is to demonstrate the love of God through meaningful outreach to Calgary’s disadvantaged and hurting. Jesus came for those who are poor, hurting, and oppressed. Our passion is to carry on that mandate by responding to people’s practical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Opportunities exist at our Eastside Victory Outreach Church, Ronald McDonald House as well as many other areas of need.

Eastside Victory Outreaches

• Serving Lunch - 2nd  & 4th (or last) Sundays monthly - attend 1st service at ROVC then head over to Eastside Victory Outreach for 11:30-2:30
• Intake & Hampers - Every Tues. and Thurs. at 11:00-3:00
• Sandwich Making - 1st Tues. (monthly) 12:00-1:30 - 3rd Tues. (monthly) 12:00-1:30

Her Victory (Volunteers Needed)

• Clothing Room at Eastside Victory - Tues.-Thurs. 11:00-2:30

Senior's Homes

• Holy Cross and St. Marguerite - 2nd Sun. 9:00-10:30
• Bible Study at Manor Village - TBA
• Bible Study at The Edgemont VENVI - last Thurs. of the month
• Bible Study at Rocky Ridge Retirement - 3rd Wed. of the month

Brenda Strafford Women‘s Shelter

Driver’s  needed - Sun. at 10AM (pick up) and 12:30PM (drop off)

PRISON MINISTRY

People in prison are at the lowest point of their lives. They have lost everything. Many want to change but they don’t know how, and this is the time when they are most open to receiving the Gospel message. Opportunities exist with both the men’s and women’s facilities. Must be age 18 or older.

Women‘s Prison Ministry - Every 2nd Sat. 1:15-2:30
Men‘s Prison Ministry - Wed. 6:00-7:00 and 7:30-8:30
Youth Remand Centre - Wed. 5:30-6:30 and 6:30-7:30

Last Friday of every month at 3:00-7:00
